A Consistent, Quality Folio
A significant percentage of my work comes from clients who have a magazine or marketing deadline... yesterday. I'm pretty good at quick turn-arounds but doing it this way is kind of like approaching a builder in October and wanting a finished house by Christmas! Not the best way of doing things and certainly not the cheapest.
Why not have a well rounded folio of images on file and ready to go? Build the shoot fees into the job and get every job shot, book the photography the day the job is finished. My best rates are for repeat work... if you commit to a certain number of shoots per year the pricing becomes a no brainer.
The below photos of the main living areas of 4 homes were taken for the same builder (David Norton Builders) over the period of a bit over a year. The shooting style, lighting and angle of each image is consistent so when they are used together online or in print they feel balanced.
